The Sea, The Sea

{ The Hague } 

Today I {SS} spent the day in the Hague-- a 40 minute ride from Amsterdam. What a beautiful place it is and it was so wonderful to have two great "tour guides" who live there to show us around... 

Packed into our busy day, we managed a trip to the Mediterranean Sea... It was chilly but of course I had to put my feet in! I took more photographs of the gorgeous architecture and sites we saw but for now here's some shots from the Sea.

While {SS} is on here fabulous vacation, I am on a vacation of my own this weekend.

{i love days where this is the hardest decision i have to make!}

This is the first weekend I have had completely off since...I don't even know how long. I kind of don't know what to do with myself! The weather has been hot hot hot which means I am spending time by the water as much as possible.

Last night I went to the Jazz Festival with some friends from school and then we met up with Edie and Joe. Later in the night I met up with an old friend. That's what vacations are all about, right? Going with the flow, relaxing, and enjoying the moment.

I could get used to this!
